Vintage Canadian pottery dishes set in Asheville, NC

This is a lovely 8 place setting of gorgeous pottery originally from Canada. It was used in a furniture showroom over 30 years ago and I have had it in my home since then. While it is perfect for any day usage, it is great at the holidays because the red color is so vibrant in the fruit design. The design is designed to look like cross stitch but it is very refined. There is a cross stitch green border and the strawberries, blueberries, etc in the middle. I also have some unusual serving type pieces - 3 small, medium and large (heavy)stack bowls, 3 platters, a tea pitcher, coffee pitcher, and sugar and creamer. This set is lovely to display on shelves or in cabinet. It is heavy, solid pottery made the old way. Anything similar today would be very expensive. The extra serving pieces are part of what makes this such a great collection.
